HS Basketball Scoreboard: College Park Boys win big, Oak Ridge Girls stay undefeated

THE WOODLANDS, TX --

Boys Basketball:

College Park 71, Stratford 46

After a one-point loss to start the season, College Park came out strong and made sure to secure a win in their home-opener on Tuesday night. The Cavaliers were led by a 20-point performance by Drew Calderon and 17 points and five steals by Marvin Dock. The Cavs’ large margin of victory was a product of relentless defense and outhustling the Spartans to create second-chance opportunities. College Park recorded 15 steals and took four charges in the win.

The War Eagles continued their strong start to the 2020-2021 season with a win over the Hurricanes. Freshman Raniyah Lewis was the team’s leading scorer with 18 points. Allison Owens dominated the boards on Tuesday night, grabbing 12 rebounds in the win.
