THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Woodforest is inviting the public on a Merry & Bright Tour of Lights 6-11 p.m. Nov. 28 to Dec. 31 to see three miles of shimmering holiday displays.

Christine Allen Nature Park, 5831 Woodforest Parkway South, will be the starting point and guests can follow the signs for the drive-thru tour of more than 70 light displays and to “Santa’s Workshop” where they can take holiday photos and drop off letters in Santa’s mailbox. On Saturdays, Santa’s Workshop will also have take-home cookie decorating kits, jingle bells, hot cocoa and reindeer food from 6-8 p.m. while supplies last.

“Holiday light tours are a festive tradition that will bring normalcy to this holiday season,” said Faith Pitman, Marketing Director for Woodforest. “We’re going big with our displays this year and sprinkling in some fun, socially-distanced activities all can enjoy.”

The tour path winds through Woodforest, taking visitors by amenities such as the Forest Island tennis and aquatics complex, Lily Pad Spray Park, Cypress Pond and Scooter Park, as well as the growing commercial district of Pine Market. A specially curated Spotify playlist will provide a cheery backdrop to the festivities.

Prior to the light tour, guests can visit any of the 18 model homes builders have opened in the community. Models are open daily, typically from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays.

Homes in Woodforest are priced from the $200,000s. Learn more at www.woodforesttx.com/merryandbright.
