The Woodlands Fire Department Responds to Concrete Truck Accident on I-45

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Just after 5am The Woodlands Fire Department was dispatched to a reported Collision on the I 45 Northbound feeder in front of the Portofino shopping center
where a large cement truck with two people had rolled over. Shenandoah PD arrived first and reported that there was one person trapped inside the truck while a second patient had worked himself free. It took Firefighters 45 minutes to extricate the patient as they had to remove roof and then work to free him from the wreckage. Montgomery County Hospital District transported both the driver and the passenger to the hospital with significant injuries. DPS Is investigating wreck.
