The Woodlands Township storm debris dumpster service ends Sunday, February 28, 2021

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Township’s storm debris dumpster service ends at 6 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2021. Dumpsters are located at three locations in The Woodlands:


• Sterling Ridge Park and Ride - 801 McBeth Way 77382

• Research Forest Park and Ride - 3900 Marsico Place 77384

• Wendtwoods Park Gardens - 8950 Creekside Green Drive 77375

Please note, these locations accept only household storm debris and household trash accrued from delayed service last week. Unacceptable items: yard debris, bulk items (furniture, appliances), non-storm related debris, contractor waste.

Additional Trash Bag Service Update
Curbside collection of extra trash bags (bags set out in addition to the trash cart) continues indefinitely on regularly scheduled service days. All bags must be affixed with an extra trash pink tag. Tags may be purchased for $1.75 at Kroger in The Woodlands and Township facilities.

Please note, a different truck will visit each house separate from the regular trash truck to pick up additional bags. All routes run until 7 p.m. If your bags are not picked up by the following morning, please contact Waste Management at (800) 800-5804 or cssatex@wm.com to report a missed pickup OR you may take your additional bags to one of the three Township dumpster sites. Additional Curbside Solid Waste Services

Waste Management will continue with standard collection of yard trimmings and bulk items. Yard trimmings may placed curbside in unlimited amounts. Please follow all guidelines to ensure service. No call is required; service occurs automatically.

Bulk items (singular items too large to fit in your trash cart) can be collected curbside at no cost by calling Waste Management at (800) 800-5804. Two business days advance notice is required. Please follow all guidelines to ensure service.

Waste Management Bagster Program
For home renovations or cleanup projects, residents may consider Waste Management's Bagster program.

Bags can be purchased at local home improvement stores. Once full, simply schedule for pickup at www.thebagster.com or call 1-877-789-2247.
