BBB Recognizes Amazing Window Cleaners with Award of Excellence

MONTGOMERY, TX -- Amazing Window Cleaners was one of 236 organizational businesses recognized at the annual Better Business Awards of Excellence on October 12, 2021, to honor businesses and non-profits for their achievements and commitment to quality in the workplace. Recognized as a Winner of Distinction for 2021, this was a new award for Amazing Window Cleaners since they started the business in 2020.

“It is an honor to be recognized for what we do every day to serve the community at large”, said Sonya Brazeal, co-founder with her husband, Kevin Brazeal. Amazing Windows Cleaners is a locally owned and women-run business founded last year during Covid-19. In January 2021, the business was awarded 2020 Business of the Year at the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce.

Both Kevin and Sonya work for Southwest Airlines. Kevin is a pilot and Sonya has been flying for over 30 years as a flight attendant. During the pandemic Sonya had her windows cleaned at their home as a surprise to Kevin. She learned that although the windows were cleaned and looked fantastic, the services were not “as advertised” and the business was not bonded or insured. That incident was life changing for Sonya. She decided to start a window cleaning business. They had their first client April 8, 2020.

Amazing Window Cleaners provides both home and commercial window cleaning, gutter cleaning services, pressure washing, roof washing, and soft washing services. It is important for Sonya and Kevin to form long term relationships with residents in the community, so they give free estimates at your place of business or your home.

Sonya and Kevin believe in giving back to the community that supports your business. This year Amazing Window Cleaners was the Presenting Sponsor for the Montgomery County Association of Business Women (MCABW) Scholarship Foundation awarding twelve scholarships to qualifying seniors throughout the county. They are actively involved in the Montgomery Area Chamber sponsoring events to assist teachers, the Montgomery Education Foundation and local high school activities including the Football Booster Club.

As a daughter of a fallen police officer, Sonya is a lifetime member of the 100 Club and supports Back the Blue fundraisers. Recently the Brazeals participated in the local Bentwater Community Pickle Ball and Tennis Tournament as players/sponsors to benefit Meals on Wheels Montgomery County. One of their passions is to bring awareness to Stupid Strong, a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness about gastric cancer.

Amazing Window Cleaners acquired Focus Window Washing the beginning of 2021 and will be expanding their fleet to serve a larger area of the community.
