Come to Class Act Productions’ presentation of Big Fish, a New Broadway Musical. Based on the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton, Big Fish tells the story of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest… and then some! Edward’s incredible, larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him – most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father’s epic tales. Amp up the fun by hunting in the dark for eggs at The Woodlands Township’s Flashlight Egg Hunt! Bring your flashlights, cameras and baskets to Terramont Park for an egg hunt to remember. Fee includes egg hunt, a visit from the Bunny and a special snack. (Ages 5 and under hunt on the soccer field; Ages 6 and up hunt in hills.) Fee: $15 Resident; $20 Non-Resident (per child); $5 sibling discount; pre-registration is required, registration on event day not permitted unless space and supplies allow. Come on out to Town Green Park and all along the Waterway for Fidelity Investments The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival to experience an outdoor art gallery. Shop for fine art from nearly 200 artists, enjoy live music, local food and kids’ activities. Celebrating 17 years, Fidelity Investments The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is a jewel of the Texas fine arts tour and ranked among the top arts festivals in the country! Selected artists display unique original artwork ranging across a variety of mediums at the festival. Voted as the best event in The Woodlands, the arts festival is a long-standing springtime tradition for families and locals. Children 12 and under are admitted for free.

Sunday, April 10
For Palm Sunday, the Cathedral Choir of HopePointe Church, Austin Hunt, Choirmaster, in The Woodlands will present “The Seven Last Words of Christ” of Theodore Dubois at 5:00 pm. HopePointe is located at 3333 S Panther Creek Drive in The Woodlands. The concert - which will be less than an hour in duration - will feature Jan Cornelius, soprano, Austin Hunt, tenor, Ben LeClair, bass, and organist Sherryl Smith Pond, under the direction of Rob Hunt, conductor. Child care for walking through age 4 is being provided by registration with a cost of $5. The concert is without cost, but a free will offering will be appreciated. In addition, the music will be interpreted through dance by the Ad Deum Dance Company, a professional Christian modern dance company based in Houston and represented in fine art as well.
