We’re in that down time between the frenetic preparations we made for Mother’s Day and the special events and grilling items we’ll be buying to commemorate Memorial Day. You’d think there would be a lull; au contraire, the week is chock full of fun!

Monday-Friday, May 9-13
Total Football Club is hosting spring football (aka “soccer”) tryouts all week long at The TIPS Center (Total Indoor Performance Soccer). Keep the little ones active and healthy and competitive! Registration and tryout dates are separated by children’s ages/birth years, so be sure to click on the link below for details.

Wednesday, May 11
He’s a little bit country, he’s a little bit… on reflection, he’s all country. Travis Tritt himself will be performing at Dosey Doe - The Big Barn tonight. Delicious dinner and spectacular show are included in the ticket prices. Doors open at 6:00 pm for a sit-down meal, then around 7:30 the music starts blasting. Act soon before this concert is sold out!

The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch is partnering with Riva Row Boat House for Paddle with your Pup, an enjoyable way to bring your dog for a ride on the water while also you both get valuable information on water safety and crime prevention. There will also be giveaways, prizes and treats provided by our sponsor Natural Pawz. Water Safety information will be provided by the Neighborhood Watch staff, and the Army Corps of Engineers will be there with boating safety information.
