MAGNOLIA, TX -- The Bella Bottega, a working artist community located in Magnolia, TX, is set to host an art walk in celebration of Father’s Day on June 12th from 1-4 p.m.

“Montgomery County is home to a vibrant artist community, and full of emerging talent! We are thrilled to highlight works by several local artist dads and community leaders during our June Second Sunday event, just in time for Father’s Day,” said Julie Verville, mother of resident artist of The Bella Bottega, Nora Verville.

This Second Sunday event will feature local guest artist works, including:

•Unique ocean-inspired ceramics by The Bella Bottega’s co-founder Ron Robare

•Photography by Justin Ulmer, of Sevenapples Art and pastor of Little Flock Church. 100% of the profits generated from Ulmer’s work are used to advance the Gospel in Texas and around the world.

•Color and shape driven paintings by Jim Hill, artist and Adjunct Professor of Art at Houston Community College for the past 25 years.

•Paintings and illustrations by John Bishop, retired librarian and now full-time artist. His art attempts to connect and bind disparate elements together into new vocabularies and stories.

•“Street Drafting” works by Bryan Cope, which blend graffiti and drafting into unique works often layering pieces of laser cut wood. He is also the founding member of The Blue Dozen Collective, a diverse group of local and regional artists bringing art to the streets.

June’s Second Sunday visitors are encouraged to:

•Browse 8 working artist studios and their available works

•Shop visual artwork by featured local artist dads and community leaders

•Participate in a ceramic workshop offered by The Cat’s Meow Art Studio

•Shop for Father’s Day gifts by blacksmith Dean Stinn and functional wood and metal items by Cole Humphrey of Unchained Art & Design

•Snap a family photo in front of original art backdrop by artist Melanie Wade Leslie

“This event supports our artist collective’s mission to enhance the local arts community through collaboration,” added Verville. Visit The Bella Bottega on June 12th from 1-4 p.m. during this special Father’s Day event.
