THE WOODLANDS, TX – Quote of the week: “Summer afternoon—summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.” – Henry James

In a ‘good news/bad news’ scenario, summer officially begins this week, so we have three months of accompanying summer temperatures. Conversely, the summer solstice also happens this week, which means that after Tuesday the days will be getting shorter and shorter… a minute or so at a time. But anything to lessen the daily appearance length of the sun, right? Here are our Top 5 reasons to celebrate the arrival of summer AND its solstice!

Wednesday, June 22
Head out to Total Wine & More to meet the crew of Panther Creek Inspiration Ranch and join them for a complimentary wine tasting and appetizers at their Let’s Unwind! event. Purchase bottles of wine for yourself and bottles to donate to Inspiration Ranch’s Wine Pull while you enjoy time with friends at Total Wine & More. The Wine Pull will take place at their Denim & Diamonds Gala in September. They need 333 bottles to reach their goal for the Wine Pull and currently have 47. By attending Let’s Unwind at Total Wine & More, mingling with friends and enjoying tasty appetizers, you can help them reach that goal.
