This week is starting off stormy over the next few days, but fingers crossed the thunderstorms and rain will peter out before the weekend hits full swing. So here’s a combo of indoor and outdoor events for you to enjoy no matter what the weather!

Tuesday, June 28
If you haven’t been out to one of The Woodlands area’s newest restaurants, you’ve been missing out, but now you can make up for it with a toast. Head out to the Federal American Grill on I-45 and join them for a three-course whiskey dinner featuring Maker's Mark starting at 7 o’clock in the evening. $100/person, and reservations are highly recommended!

Thursday, June 30
Come hear the soulful sounds of Jamie Lin Wilson, an americana artist from D'Hanis, TX, who will be performing at Dosey Doe - The Big Barn this evening. Doors open at 6:30, dinner is available for the next two hours, and then the concert commences at 8:30. And check out the prices for these tickets! A wonderful musical night that won’t break the bank.

Every first Friday of the month, The Woodlands Township hosts an event for all ages. Join them at the Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park for a fun-filled BINGO night with your family and friends. Prizes awarded for good bingos. Snacks will be provided on a first come, first served basis. Due to the event selling out, pre-registration is highly recommended. Fee: Per Person; $5

Saturday, July 2
The Rod Stewart with Cheap Trick show originally scheduled for August 30 of two years ago is finally making its rescheduled appearance! What’s sure to be a rowdy, rocking concert is hitting the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion at long last tonight. Not only do the original ticketholders finally get to enjoy this performance with some giants of yesteryear, but there are a limited number of leftover tickets, so grab yours now!

Sunday, July 3
The July 4 festivities start a day early at the Pavilion with the Star-Spangled Salute. This free Independence Eve spectacular, which has been a Woodlands tradition for more than 30 years, features the Houston Symphony performing a rousing selection of patriotic favorites. Tickets are not required for this event. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. with pre-concert activities including photo opportunities with patriotic characters, arts and crafts, and sponsor activations.
