There are some amazing events happening all week long as we hit our first full week of autumn. Enjoy this ‘sweet spot’ of weather with some indoor and outdoor fun. Here’s but a sampling!


Tuesday, September 27
All season long, Dosey Doe has been holding Open Mic Night competitions. Well, it’s time to start picking a winner! Head on over to The Big Barn tonight at 7 p.m. for only $10 admission – come early because the kitchen will be open. Cheer on your 2022 Open Mic Night Finalists: Drew Gros, Carlos Fernandez, Angela Floyd, Dylan Rhys, Payton Riley, Michael Williams, Steven O'Brien, and Faith Parle (Lee). Seats are limited; grab your tickets before they’re all gone.

The 23rd Annual YMCA Dragon Boat Team Challenge Presented by Repsol
is in full swing all extended weekend! Please join in the fun Thursday through Sunday as teams row for a CAUSE and build community spirit. Teams participate in groups of 25 friends, co-workers, family members, clients, running groups, sports teams, and more for team-building exercises and the lauded Dragon Boat Race. Free for spectators to cheer on their favorite teams. TIMES: 8 a.m. – noon and 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. each day

Bring your appetite and business community savvy to The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s 44th Annual Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon, which recognizes retiring Board of Directors, Team Leaders and member anniversaries. In addition, the Diplomat of the Year will be recognized. Through member nominations, The Chamber will announce those individuals selected as: Community Citizen of the Year; Chamber Volunteer of the Year; and Top Influencer Under 40. Additional specialty awards will also be unveiled for the Chairman’s Award and Legacy Award. The presentation of the awards will follow the presentation of The Chamber’s Annual Report while guests enjoy a seated lunch.

National Night Out
is a great opportunity for citizens and law enforcement to partner up against crime! The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch invites you to gather this evening from 3 to 6 p.m. to meet your neighbors and commit to helping law enforcement reduce crime in our community! Local law enforcement and The Woodlands Fire Department will briefly visit with residents of many of the neighborhoods that register their parties with the Township.
