THE WOODLANDS, TX – The cloud coverage you’ve been seeing all day will stay pretty much at full blanket, keeping our temps in the unseasonable mid 80s, but around seven o’clock tonight we’ll get a surge of rain to go along with it. It’ll last well into the night, keeping the low temperatures in the 60s, so that the official low temp won’t occur until well into tomorrow morning. Why not mix the best of both worlds with the indoor/outdoor venue Sawyer Park Ice House as they present live music with Mike and the Moonpies?

Tonight’s rains will dry up for a bit, then it’s anyone’s guess

Though you may fall asleep tonight to the pitter patter of rain on your roof, you’ll wake up to precipitation-free skies, barely. Saturday will be a day of recovery from the rains, with temps struggling to break the mid 70s under sunny skies. In fact, the weather couldn’t be any better to enjoy the 4th annual “Harvest In The Hills” Model Home Tour and Fall Festival hosted by Howard Hughes Management.

When Sunday dawns, however, the weather can go one of several ways. The forecast calls for significant cloud coverage to come wandering in mid-morning and hanging around for the rest of the weekend. But all day long there will only be around a 25 percent chance of rain to go with it, so any plans you make you might wish to take this into consideration. But rain or no, nighing will dampen the spirits of those who attend the Light the Night celebration benefiting the Lymphoma & Leukemia Society.

The Sunday low will be an outright warm 68 degrees, and you can look forward to a new work week hitting the 80s all over again…

Stay tuned for weather updates from Woodlands Online, and be sure to check us out on Monday for our “Week Ahead” forecast.
