We’ve survived part one of the holidays, and Thanksgiving (and Black Friday) are behind us. As we definitely delve into the next phase of the season, here are some events to get you in the festive mood!

Wednesday, November 30
Relax, unwind, and have fun this Hump Day at Trivia Night at the Classy Cork – Famous Lines from Famous Movies, Part 2. Bring your wittiest friends and test your knowledge against other teams. Each trivia night will feature a different theme. Teams of up to 4 will have the chance to win fun prizes!

Thursday, December 1
It’s time for the annual Holly Jolly Jingle at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. This is a free event featuring Conroe ISD students. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. The holiday jingles and Christmas carols throughout our plazas and on the Main Stage are brought to you by talented student musicians from across Conroe ISD. You'll hear everything from rocking electric violins, harmonious choral groups, striking symphonies and maybe even a merry mariachi band. No tickets required.

Friday - Sunday, December 2 - 4
King Arthur and his Round Table tackle the Black Knight, killer rabbits, the Knights of Ni, and more in the hilarious musical SPAMALOT, based on the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, running all weekend long at the Historic Crighton Theatre in Conroe. From now until December 18, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m., get blown away by the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch and the Lady of the Lake alike.

Saturday, December 3
Santa Claus is coming to town for a FREE community event. Woodlands Eco Realty, located at 26519 Interstate 45 N in The Woodlands, is hosting Photos with Santa for your kids and pets. At absolutely no cost to you, they will have kits for kids to write the letters to Santa Claus and mail the letters in the North Pole Letter box that elves have delivered. Santa will reply to each and every kid that attends. There will be Snow and snow balls. And your human, canine, and feline friends get free photos with the Big Guy in Red himself; they will send you a digital picture and mail you a printed picture for free. They are collecting pet food for the Pure Mutts Animal Sanctuary, as well as toys for children for the Toys for Tots program. If you wish to donate any of these items they will appreciate it.

Sunday, December 4
Dosey Doe - The Big Barn remembers the crooning, soothing voice of the late music legend Charley Pride. Though Charley has passed, his legacy continues. His son Dion is taking the stage tonight to sing live music with with his show, Dion Pride - A Tribute to My Dad, Charley. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a three-course meal included in the ticket price, and Dion will start at 7:30.
