Entergy Texas outage update – 5/24/23, 5 p.m.

CONROE, TX -- Entergy Texas crews have successfully restored power to more than 70% of customers impacted by Tuesday’s storm. As of 4:30 p.m., approximately 6,600 customers remain without power, down from a peak of about 22,000 Tuesday afternoon.


Extensive equipment damage in Conroe and Huntsville continue to impact restoration times. The company has more than 60 crews working to identify alternative sources of power while the damage is being repaired, which includes the installation of new poles and rerouting wires.
