HS Football: Number 1 linebacker in the nation and Oak Ridge War Eagle, Justin Williams, commits to Georgia

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- A very excited Justin Williams made his decision known to thousands of viewers that he would be taking his talents to Athens with the hopes of succeeding at the University of Georgia.

Williams joins a stacked Georgia Bulldogs recruiting class that features two other five-star recruits in Quarterback Dylan Raiola and Cornerback Ellis Robinson IV. The commitment of Justin Williams adds not only another stout athletic presence to the Georgia locker room but also the highest-rated linebacker in the history of the University of Georgia based on 247 Sports’ composite.

This commitment also comes in the wake of fellow War Eagle Joseph Jonah-Ajonye’s announcement that he too would be attending Georgia as part of the 2024 recruiting class. With a previous history as teammates, it would be reasonable to think that the commitment of Jonah-Ajonye played a role in helping Williams make his decision final.
