THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The red hot College Park Cavaliers (21-3, 5-0) defend their home court against the New Caney Eagles (9-13, 1-3) in a 91-49 victory.

Along with a solid defense, College Park dominated the boards to start off the first quarter. Aiden Buckman was on fire as he hit multiple three-pointers including one buzzer beater from beyond the three-point line. New Caney struggled against the fast pace Cavaliers, but managed to put up nine points in the first quarter.

College Park would let off the gas just a bit in the second quarter and tighten up their defense. This would force New Caney to take defended shots at the basket which would result in a 12-point quarter. College Park’s Ian Inman would score nine points to contribute to the 19 total.

The Cavaliers would lead the Eagles 46-21 at the half.

The second half saw much of the same from both teams. College Park once again would keep the pace up and lock down their defense while New Caney struggled on offense with contested shots inside the arch.

Martez James would dominate the paint by posting up and grabbing any rebounds that came his way. On the other end of the court Koltan Lopez would score 10 points in the second half for New Caney.

New Caney would manage to score 25 points in the second half against the tough College Park team.

In the end Buckman would finish off the night with 30 total points which helped the Cavaliers take the victory at home in a 91-49 final score.
