Tuesday, January 23

You are invited to join Conroe Independent School District at its upcoming event, the Navigating Teen Relationships Workshop – Healthy Relationships - Teen Dating Violence – dedicated to fostering awareness about teen dating violence and equipping parents with essential tools to support their children in developing healthy relationships. Runs from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at Woodforest Bank Stadium

Wednesday, January 24

The Looking at Art Lady Presentation takes place at The Woodlands Children’s Museum today at 11:00 a.m. Come learn and laugh with art history. Children and adults will enjoy this lighthearted journey through art history. Famous paintings throughout time will plant a seed of interest in the fine arts for you and your child. They will briefly talk about each painting but quickly shift to giggles as each piece will have a parody version. Children will be introduced to various pop culture faces and characters in the parody while subtly remembering the original piece. This event is included in the price of admission, which is $9 for adults and children 1 year and older.

At the South Library next door to the Pavilion, the MCMLS Genealogy & History Room invites you to meet Megan Hoyt, author of the Bluebonnet Award-winning, Bartali’s Bicycle. A Q&A and book signing follows her presentation. This is a Holocaust Remembrance Week Event. A few books will be available for sale at the event by the South Montgomery County Friends of the Library. Or you can purchase your book and bring it with you to the signing. This event is taking place at South Regional Library. This program is brought to you by a partnership with Holocaust Museum Houston's Boniuk Library, Bay City Public Library, The Schachtel Library at Congregation Beth Israel, Harris County Public Library, Alvin ISD, Rosenberg Library, and Friendswood Public Library.
