Save the date to shop, celebrate, and see Santa at the annual Junior League Holiday Market
THE WOODLANDS, TX – Believe it or not, we’re just about a month away from the official onset of the holiday season. One major aspect for local residents of this last part of the year is the annual Junior League Holiday Market in The Woodlands.
The Junior League of The Woodlands is a prominent women’s non-profit organization dedicated to advancing women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Originally founded in 1983 and admitted to the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) in 1990, the chapter consists of nearly 600 active, new, and sustaining members.
Over its 30+ year history, the organization has contributed millions of dollars in direct financial support and logged tens of thousands of annual volunteer hours across local communities, focusing its community programs around critical local initiatives, primarily education, food insecurity, literacy, and the health and well-being of women and children.
The theme of this year’s market is “Dashing Through the Snow” (in this part of Texas, one can only hope), and will take place Friday through Sunday, November 20 - 22 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. There will be a preview party on Thursday, November 19, from 7:30 - 10:30 p.m. for an early look at merchants and merchandise. For the general market, hours on Friday and Saturday will be 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. General Admission tickets are offered online in advance for $18 each until November 15; tickets will also be available for purchase at the door for $20 each. Preview Party tickets are $120 each and available only until sold out. General admission tickets grant entry to the main market from Friday through Sunday. Children five and under enter for free.
Step through the doors to find a bustling marketplace featuring more than 125 premier merchants from across the country. Whether you are searching for handcrafted holiday ornaments, bespoke jewelry, boutique clothing, or artisanal gourmet treats, you will find the perfect gift for everyone on your list.
Ample parking is available at the Marriott parking garage for a standard fee, with additional parking options located throughout the Town Center area. If you are bringing the little ones, please note that strollers are welcome on Friday and Saturday after 2:00 p.m., and all day on Sunday.
The highlight for many families is the chance to capture memories with the big man himself. Photos with Santa must be booked in advance online through the official Junior League of The Woodlands website. Spots fill up quickly, so early registration is highly encouraged.
Every ticket purchased directly supports local community programs, funding essential initiatives for food insecurity, youth empowerment, and family resources across Montgomery County and surrounding areas. Gather your friends, check your list, and dash into the season’s premier shopping event.
The event is underwritten by Northside Lexus. All proceeds directly fund the Junior League of The Woodlands' community programs – including food insecurity relief, teen empowerment, the IMPACT Conference for local educators, and support resources for women, children, and families across the area.
