THE WOODLANDS, TX – Though the most recent round of elections to The Woodlands Township Board of Directors happened last November, Woodlands municipal elections aren't quite yet done. Those thinking their next opportunity to hit the polling places is Primary Day on March 5 might be in for a surprise when they realize there are several Village Association and Residential Design Review Committee slots open on the slate.

While Election Day for these positions is Saturday, February 17, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., convenience (early) voting takes place from Monday, February 12, through Friday, February 16, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at the same location.

Contested races include the Alden Bridge Residential Design Review Committee, Cochran’s Crossing Village Association, Creekside Park Residential Design Review Committee, Grogan’s Mill Residential Design Review Committee, and the Sterling Ridge Residential Design Review Committee. Only residents of these villages can cast ballots.

There are also several uncontested races; as a result, there will be no elections for them. These races include the Alden Bridge Village Association, Cochran’s Crossing Residential Design Review Committee, College Park Residential Design Review Committee, College Park Village Association, Creekside Park Village Association, Grogan's Mill Village Association, Indian Springs (TWA) Residential Design Review Committee, Indian Springs (WCA) Residential Design Review Committee, Indian Springs Village Association, Panther Creek Residential Design Review Committee, Panther Creek Village Association, and the Sterling Ridge Village Association
