THE WOODLANDS, TX – Dan Crenshaw, U.S. Congressman for Texas District 2, which encompasses The Woodlands and much of Montgomery County, recently held an informal meet-and-greet hosted by The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce and held at Porta'Vino Italian Restaurant in the East Shore Harbor area of the Township.

Community leaders such as Dr. Ann Snyder, Rob Eisler, Brian Albert, and JJ Hollie welcomed Crenshaw, who mingled with attendees and then gave an impassioned, impromptu update on the state of Congress and his thoughts on the current session, which is dealing with issues such as the Texas border, the ongoing partisan schism, and even the threat of Russian incursion into space.

"It is very important that our chamber engages in important policy discussions, and having a good relationship with our congressional offices and Congressman Crenshaw in particular is very important, so that we can all talk about things that are very important to us. And this is one of our core missions, to advocate for our business community, whether locally, statewide, or nationally," said Hollie.
