THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business Advocacy Council has announced that it is holding a candidate forum for the upcoming election for Montgomery County Judge. The co-moderators for the forum will be Sean K. Thompson, news editor for Woodlands Online, and Nicole Preston, publisher for Community Impact - The Woodlands.

The forum will be held as part of the Chamber’s ‘Meet the Candidates’ event on Tuesday, February 17 at Sam Houston State University - The Woodlands Center. The Meet the Candidates event will start at 4:00 p.m. and is scheduled to run for two hours. The moderated forum will take place for approximately an hour during the event, and will be livestreamed by Woodlands Online.

At the forum, challenger Wayne Mack, current Justice of the Peace for Precinct 1, will face off with incumbent Mark Keough to state positions and answer questions of the moderators. While these two will be the only candidates to partake in the moderated forum, attendees can meet several other candidates for other offices who will be in attendance for a ‘meet-and-greet.’

“Come meet the candidates running for local, state, and federal office. Drop in for an informal come-and-go opportunity to connect with candidates and learn about their priorities for our business community,” said event organizers in a statement.

The event is free to attend for all Chamber members. To register to attend, or for more information, visit business.woodlandschamber.org/events/details/meet-the-candidates-18722.
