7th Annual Designer Purse Bingo

HOUSTON, TX -- Over 600 exuberant attendees attended Be An Angel’s 7th Annual Purse Bingo sponsored by CenterPoint Energy and held at the Bayou City Event Center.. Serving as this year’s Chairman was Jessica Forsdick.

Be An Angel’s Executive Director, Marti Boone, welcomed the guests with George Lindsey from 100.3 “The Bull” as MC and Sean Pendergast with 610 Sports Radio as Texas’ Bingo Caller. Dan Pastorini, Lincoln Obie, Dave Muzyka and Adam Folden all served as “Purse Models” while Jay Morris, Bob Ethington Mike Gorman, and Jim Anderson served as Bingo Spotters.

In addition to winning high-end designer luxury handbags guests were treated to 20 flash retailers selling everything including fun casual wear, hats, scarves, homemade salas, purses, baked goods, Greek Olives/oils and more. Standard Boutique and Peonie’s Depot came from Dallas. Ralph Lauren purse, handmade boots, custom western hat, rodeo tickets, $1000 Visa Card were all included in chances within the bonus raffle.

Bingo winners were offered a variety of designer handbags from Michael Kors, Coach, David Peck, Niki Lassiter, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren and Louis Vuitton.

Excited guests attending included City Counselwoman, Twila Carter, Polo’s Tammy Beeson, Halliburton’s Michele Sowell, and Pasadena and Tomball teachers’ groups.

Be An Angel is a non-profit 501 c3 whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children with special needs by providing adaptive equipment, hearing devices, select services, and support programs.
