“Just like our diverse music lineup, we want our patrons to relish in the expansive selection of dining options being offered onsite this May. We’ve not only invited some of our favorite food trucks to join us onsite but also local restaurants like Honor Cafe because we want to further invest in this incredible community that we are lucky enough to call neighbors,” said festival cofounder and lifelong local resident Trey Diller.

Held at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds (9333 Airport Rd, Conroe, TX 77303) outside Houston, Big as Texas will soon host over 20+ hours of live music from the 30+ artists billed for this year's three-day event that will make use of the fairgrounds’ sprawling 75+ acre campus set against the background of sprawling Texas prairie land.

With country and Americana music having played such an instrumental role in the cultural fabric of the Lone Star State, these two genres serve as the cornerstones of the music festival experience with the team having curated a world-class music lineup, with a third of the lineup hailing from the Lone Star State. This year's festival will feature some of today’s hottest acts featuring the full spectrum of country music (and then some) with Thomas Rhett, Dierks Bentley, Billy Strings, and Morgan Wade set to headline the Year 1 affair.

Other major performers range from multi-Grammy Award-winners Dwight Yoakam and Los Lobos to Texas music legends Tracy Byrd and Clay Walker to new-age country acts like Warren Zeiders, Maddie & Tea, Anne Wilson, and Drake Milligan. Plus, Texas will be well-represented with acts like Midland, Jamestown Revival, Amanda Shires, Buffalo Nichols, and Braxton Keith, not to mention Montgomery County’s very own Trent Cowie Band and Kate Watson, among other Texas performers.

Beyond the live music, Big As Texas hopes to serve as a rallying cry for suicide prevention as Montgomery County is one of America’s most vulnerable communities that continues to be impacted by suicide. In alignment with the festival's commitment to making a positive impact, a portion of ticket proceeds will help nonprofits supporting suicide prevention initiatives both in Montgomery County and across the nation

Festival organizers would like to thank this year’s partners and sponsors for supporting the 2024 event including Woodforest National Bank, St. Luke's Health, and Tachus Fiber Internet, not to mention Busch Light, CELSIUS Drinks, Cutwater Spirits, evamor Water, George Dickel Bourbon, Karbach Brewing Co., NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer, and Ranch Water Hard Seltzer, among others.

Stay tuned for more exciting announcements, including daily lineup schedules and onsite programming. From car shows to equestrian exhibitions, carnival games to immersive art installations, and silent auctions to chainsaw carvings, the inaugural Big As Texas Festival promises an entertainment-packed experience for guests of all ages.
