Lone Star College to hold commencement ceremonies

Lone Star College will hold graduation ceremonies for its eight campuses May 9-11 and its first Spanish Commencement Ceremony May 18.

HOUSTON, TX -- Lone Star College will host 2024 graduation ceremonies for all eight campuses May 9-11 including its first Spanish Speaking Commencement May 18.

“Commencement at Lone Star College is a momentous occasion for families and college employees to celebrate our graduates who worked hard to finish their journeys with us,” said Dwight L. Smith, Ed.D., LSC vice chancellor, Academic and Workforce Success. “Lone Star College looks forward to watching our graduates walk across the stage and take that next step toward accomplishing their future goals.”

LSC will award diplomas and certifications to students who finished their requirements in the summer and fall 2023 semesters and candidates who will complete their programs in spring and summer 2024. These graduates represent various programs, including baccalaureate, associate or workforce degrees and certifications, GED completers and Early College High School students.
