Tuesday, August 27
Join The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce for their monthly meet and greet reception where they will introduce up to 10 new members to the general membership. This month’s sponsoring company for Meet New Members is Houston Tents and Events, located at 14820 North Freeway, Suite 500 in Houston. The event provides opportunities for members to meet other members and learn how they can all do business together. Reservations are required for this adults-only event. Chamber members can attend complimentary; non-member guests pay a small fee.

It’s going to be a rocking night as Thirty Seconds to Mars with AFI, Poppy and KennyHoopla take the stage at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion tonight. Gates open at 6 p.m.; the show starts at 7 p.m. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the Pavilion’s rules on bags and containers.

This event is a fantastic opportunity for shooters to sharpen their skills while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts. It promises to be both fun and challenging, especially with TISAS sponsoring the event, ensuring you’ll be competing with top-tier equipment. Participants will compete in an 8-stage steel target match using only TISAS handguns provided by a TISAS representative.

City Plaza is bringing the entire family some splish-splashing fun with Pix on the Plaza as they show Disney’s The Little Mermaid on a huge outdoor screen. The movie starts at 7 p.m., but get there early for a chance to see Ariel live and in person for a special meet-and-greet!

Relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor with an early Labor Day celebration at Waterway Square today from 5 to 9 p.m. with live music, children's activities, strolling entertainment, pie eating contests, and more. The event is capped off by an amazing fireworks display. There will be free craft activities while supplies last, and complimentary face painting and balloon art. A beverage booth will be available to purchase a variety of beverages. Please consider supporting local restaurants before or after attending the event. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited.
