Temporary Panels Installed at Alden Trace Park During Playground Enhancements

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- As part of ongoing efforts to enhance community parks, The Woodlands Township is currently installing new playground equipment at Alden Trace Park. During the installation process, a set of incorrectly themed panels referencing Atlanta, Georgia, were mistakenly delivered and temporarily installed.

The panels were not part of the original design plan. However, in order to maintain construction progress and install essential structural framing on schedule, the contractor has temporarily used these panels. The correct panels are already en route and will be installed promptly upon arrival.

Alden Trace Park remains an active construction site while installation continues. Township officials ask residents to exercise caution around the area and appreciate the community’s patience and understanding during this phase of improvements.

The Woodlands Township looks forward to unveiling the updated playground soon and providing families with a refreshed space to enjoy.
