Montgomery County Precinct 3 Announces Free Recycle Week – June 18–21, 2025

SPRING, TX -- Commissioner Ritch Wheeler and Montgomery County Precinct 3 invite residents to participate in Free Recycle Week, taking place Wednesday through Saturday, June 18–21, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily at the Spring Creek Greenway Nature Center, located at 1122 Pruitt Road, Spring, TX 77380.
This drive-through-only event provides Montgomery County residents a convenient and eco-friendly way to responsibly dispose of household materials—free of charge. Proof of residency is required. No commercial or business materials will be accepted.
Accepted Items & Limits:

Paint & Household Chemicals: Up to 40 gallons per vehicle (Available Wednesday & Saturday only)

Electronics: No limit (Available all week)

Tires: Up to 12 tires per vehicle (Available all week)

Fluorescent Bulbs: No limit (Available all week)

Paper Shredding: Up to 4 file boxes per vehicle (Available Friday only)

Landfill materials will still require a disposal fee
