Woodlands Firefighters Contain Residential Fire in Alden Bridge Neighborhood
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- At approximately 11:15 AM this morning, The Woodlands Fire Department (TWFD) was dispatched to a reported wooden fence fire on Courtland Green Street, located in the Village of Alden Bridge.
Upon arrival, crews from Truck 104 observed that the fire had extended from the exterior fence to the outside wall of the home and into the attic. The call was immediately upgraded to a full box alarm to bring in additional resources.
Firefighters from Truck 104 initiated an aggressive offensive attack and successfully knocked down the bulk of the fire within two minutes. Follow-on crews provided critical support by checking for fire extension, conducting smoke removal, and performing salvage operations to protect property.
All occupants of the residence had safely evacuated prior to the arrival of fire crews. No injuries were reported.
The fire caused damage to the home’s exterior wall, portions of the wooden fence, and some pool pumping equipment. The Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
TWFD was supported on scene by units from Montgomery County ESD No. 10 (Magnolia Fire Department), Needham Fire & Rescue/Montgomery County ESD No. 4, and the Montgomery County Hospital District.
