Extended Hours for Back-to-School Immunizations

CONROE, TX -- The Montgomery County Public Health District would like to announce extended hours at the public health clinic for back-to-school immunizations. The clinic will accept appointments from 9:00am-noon and 1:00pm-3:30pm on Saturday, June 28th. This is open to uninsured children 6 months to 18 years of age at $10 each. Traditional Medicaid is accepted; the clinic is not a provider for CHIP. Children who are underinsured (insurance does not cover vaccines), American-Indian or Alaskan native are also eligible. Please call 936-523-5020 with any questions or to make an appointment. Normal business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (closed for lunch noon-1:00pm). The clinic is located at 1300 South Loop 336 West in Conroe.
Now is the time to get your children in to see their health care providers. Making your appointments now reduces your family’s back-to-school stress by getting those vaccinations completed before the start of school. Remember, diseases can spread quickly in the schools, and vaccines are an important tool to protect your children.
