Road Rage Incident Leads to Arrest for Assault with a Deadly Weapon

MAGNOLIA, TX -- On July 27, 2025, officers with the Magnolia Police Department were dispatched to the area of FM 1488 and Spur 149 in reference to a reported road rage incident.

The complainant advised dispatchers that during the altercation, the driver of the other vehicle pointed a pistol at him. Officers quickly responded to the scene and located the suspect vehicle traveling along FM 1488. A traffic stop was initiated, and the driver was detained without incident.

Following an on-scene investigation, which included an interview with an independent witness, officers determined there was probable cause to arrest the female driver. She was taken into custody and charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a second-degree felony under Texas law.
