SPRING, TX --Faith United Methodist Church will host a special Open House on Sunday, August 24, featuring a visit and sermon from Bishop Cynthia Fierro Harvey, bishop of the Texas Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. The event will celebrate the many ministries and missions of Faith and provide opportunities for guests to connect, learn, and get involved.
The Faith Open House will take place at 10:00 a.m. and again at 12:00 p.m., with ministry tables set up throughout the church. Visitors can explore various ministries, speak with leaders, and discover how Faith is making an impact in the community and beyond.
Each table will feature information, photos, event calendars, and sometimes even sweet treats. Guests will also receive a bingo card to encourage visiting each ministry, with completed cards eligible for prizes.
Highlights of the day include:
• Special sermon by Bishop Cynthia Fierro Harvey, resident bishop of the Texas Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church
• Ministry and mission tables spread throughout the church
• Hot dogs, popcorn, and refreshments
• Prize drawings for bingo card participants
