Come see the 120# robots compete!
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands College Park Robotics: Torque (teams 1477 Texas Torque and 7492 Turbo Torque) will host The Remix, an Off-Season Robotics Competition, on Saturday, September 13 (STEAM Fest 1–4 PM; Matches begin at 1 PM) and Sunday, September 14 (Matches begin at 8:30 AM; Playoffs begin at 1:30 PM) at College Park High School in The Woodlands.
Admission is free for spectators of all ages. 40 high school teams from across Texas and Mexico will compete in an action-packed robotics challenge where 120-lb student-built robots shoot “algae” balls into nets, place “coral” into a “reef,” and climb chains to score points.

STEAM Fest for kids on Saturday from 1–4 PM, with hands-on activities, LEGO builds, science experiments, mini-bot demos, 3D printing, prizes, and giveaways
Tours of College Park’s world-class robotics lab
Food trucks, concessions, and official event merchandise
Free parking on the east side of campus near the football field
Community Impact
The Remix is the largest fundraiser for the College Park robotics program, supporting year-round STEM outreach and providing pre-rookie teams with free registration and a loaner robot to help them experience competition before their first official season.
Participating teams are also encouraged to bring:
Bed-in-a-Bag twin bedding sets for Angel Reach, supporting young adults aging out of foster care
Small LEGO sets for children at Texas Children’s Hospital – The Woodlands
Sponsorship & Community Support
All of the robots you will see in competition are designed, built, and machined by high school students with the guidance of adult mentors in the engineering field. These teams are made possible through the support of local businesses, corporations, and families.
