The Woodlands Township to Host Landscaping Event

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Learn how to Know Better and Grow Better at the 28th Annual Woodlands Landscaping Solutions!

The Woodlands Township will host a free event to share tips and resources for creating landscapes that are beautiful, water-wise and earth-friendly. The 28th annual Woodlands Landscaping Solutions will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77389.

Woodlands Landscaping Solutions, the region’s premier lawn and garden event, features dozens of retail and educational booths as well as lectures and hands-on learning by area experts.

Attendees can visit with experts one-on-one for advice on gardening, landscaping, lawn care, wildlife, plant and tree care and more. For example, if a particular plant is giving you trouble, bring in a sample for an on-site diagnosis. If you’re interested in attracting more birds or butterflies to your garden, visit with an expert who can help you build a beautiful garden that wildlife and neighbors will appreciate. This is a one-stop shop for compost bins, local honey and native plants.

Compost classes will be held at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. inside the Recreation Center. Enjoy live music, shop for native plants, and stop by for children’s activities. There is something for everyone! Questions can be emailed to enviro@thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov.
