Just in time for its 25th anniversary, Body Benefits unveils its newest device for mental health

THE WOODLANDS, TX – For a quarter of a century, Sherry Summers-Ball has been providing a complete suite of holistic services under the auspices of ‘ healthy mind, healthy body.’ The wide range of medspa services has been available for Woodlands area residents since 2000, and for the past fifteen years in the same location at 4840 West Panther Creek Suite #100.

“Things have changed a lot from the beginning, back 25 years ago,” she said. “Back then, there weren’t ‘medspas’ or ‘medispas;’ instead, there were just spas with old-school European facials and the like. Or outright surgical centers. I don’t think The Woodlands was ready for what I had to offer when I first started out, but people eventually came around to our style of products and services.”

It was important to Summers-Ball to have atmosphere keep up with the technology in her efforts to provide a welcoming environment that didn’t involve sterile walls and clinical devices at the expense of client comfort.

“You have to have that mixture of medical devices that do corrections or treatments that help someone get rejuvenated, along with traditional spa services like great relaxing facials,” she said.

Entering the suite, visitors are instantly greeted by friendly staff and shelves filled with products ranging from lotions to jewelry to crystals to supplements. The treatment rooms are adorned with muted, colored lighting and original artwork, including many pieces by Summers-Ball herself.

“When it comes to services, I always have to decide if it’s effective. I’ve always focused on holistic, non-invasive type treatments. I’m always asking myself, ‘Is it safe? Is it effective? Is it painless?’”

Body BeneFits offers services from injectable treatments to body sculpting, as well as skin care treatments. Also offered are teeth whitening and IV therapy infusions, along with so much more. In addition to their services, they have a complete online shop where clients can purchase the exact products that are used on-site.

Her most recent acquisition is a Roxiva cyberdelics system. This device is designed to use what is known as sober psychedelics to have an experience of psychedelic effects without the fear and associated risk of ingesting a psychoactive substance.
