SHENANDOAH, TX -- Proactive patrols by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) led to the successful apprehension of a wanted felon yesterday, who attempted to evade deputies on an E-bike for the second time in recent months.

On Monday, October 6, 2025, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Woodland Township Patrol Division were conducting routine proactive patrols near the Pinecroft Shopping Center. During their patrol, deputies recognized Brian George, a wanted felon, riding an E-bike through the parking lot. Deputies recalled George from a previous incident in July where he successfully evaded them on an E-bike while they were attempting to take him into custody.

MCSO requested support from the Shenandoah Police Department who located George entering a nearby wooded area. MCSO Deputies converged on the area and located George hiding in a concrete culvert where he was taken into custody without further incident.

Brian George was arrested on two warrants; A Blue Warrant issued by Pardon and Parole and an Evading Arrest with Previous Conviction Warrant issued through the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office thanks the Shenandoah Police Department - TX for their swift and effective assistance in the apprehension of this wanted subject.
