Retired Police Officer Steven Ray Murdock Arrested in Spring, TX on Felony Warrant for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child

SPRING, TX -- On the morning of Tuesday, 10/7/2025 Constable Ryan Gable’s Criminal Interdiction Unit received information on a probation violation for retired Police Officer, Steven Ray Murdock. A Felony Warrant for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child was issued for Steven’s arrest.

With the assistance of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office VIPER Squad, the warrant was executed on the Murdock residence in Spring, Montgomery County, Texas, without incident.

Murdock was transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office jail where additional charges against him are pending.

Constable Ryan Gable would like to thank the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in bringing Murdock to justice.
