Light the World Giving Machines Launch at Hughes Landing

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Light the World Giving Machines are lighting up Hughes Landing Band Shell this Christmas season, inviting residents of The Woodlands to experience the joy of giving. The local launch event will be held on Wednesday, December 17, with the machines available for donations through January 3, 2026.

These unique vending machines turn holiday giving into an uplifting experience — allowing visitors to purchase meaningful gifts for those in need locally and globally.

In 2024, Texans contributed over $1 million through Giving Machines, including more than $250,000 in Houston alone. Since their inception in 2017, the initiative has raised nearly $50 million worldwide, transforming lives through charitable giving.

With a simple swipe of a card, visitors can choose items such as meals, hygiene kits, livestock, or clean water. Every penny of every donation goes directly to the selected charities, ensuring that 100% of contributions reach those in need.
