Judge Wayne Mack Announces Campaign for Montgomery County Judge at Birthday Bash
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- Judge Wayne Mack announced Wednesday night that he is running for Montgomery County Judge, making his candidacy official during a packed birthday celebration attended by supporters, local leaders, and longtime friends.
Mack, who has served Montgomery County in nearly every capacity since 1986, said he is stepping forward because the county is at a pivotal moment. He emphasized the need for stronger unity, better communication between departments, and leadership that sets a higher standard for accountability and collaboration.
“For me, public service has always been a calling,” Mack said. “This county has shaped my life, and I’ve done everything I can to give that blessing back.”
He spoke about the challenges created by division inside county government in recent years and stressed that Montgomery County deserves leadership focused on solving problems, building relationships, and restoring trust. Mack outlined a vision for a County Judge who approaches the role like a CEO, with clear goals, transparent decision-making, and a commitment to stewarding every tax dollar responsibly.
Mack also highlighted the importance of integrity in public office, noting that leadership must be grounded in character, consistency, and a willingness to protect the public rather than political interests. “Real leadership doesn’t divide, it unifies,” he told the crowd.
He acknowledged that the race ahead will be competitive but said he is motivated by the same determination and faith that defined his past campaigns. Mack reminded supporters that hard work, honesty, and community support have always been the foundation of his success.
“I may be out-endorsed or out-financed, but we will not be out-worked,” Mack said, underscoring the spirit of the campaign he intends to run.
Mack closed by calling on supporters to join the effort to bring stronger leadership and a renewed sense of purpose to Montgomery County.
