Shop with a Cop College Park

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Today was another heart-warming opportunity for us to give back to the community we’re proud to serve.
Some of our dedicated Detention Officers, Deputies and several Sergeants teamed up with Walmart Store 3213 on College Park Drive for this year’s SHOP WITH A COP event. We were grateful to be joined by our wonderful partners from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Citizen Academy Alumni Association as well.

Our mission was simple and joyful: escort 14 amazing children through the store and help them shop with funds generously provided by the nonprofit organization Sunshine Thru the Rain. Some children picked out long-wished-for treasures, while others used their budget to choose something special for their loved ones. Watching their excitement and sharing these moments with them made the day truly memorable.

Shop With a Cop #1 is officially in the books, and we’re looking forward to two more events with these organizations still to come!
