Burglary Suspect Arrested After Early-Morning Break-In at Bentwater Country Club in Montgomery, TX

MONTGOMERY, TX -- On Thursday, December 11, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., MCSO Patrol units were dispatched to an alarm call at the Bentwater Country Club located at 100 Grand Pines Dr, Montgomery, TX 77356.

Upon arrival, a responding unit located a male attempting to conceal himself near the kitchen area outside the building among the trees. The individual was immediately detained.

The initial investigation revealed that a trash bag containing several alcohol containers had been removed from within the kitchen and was located on a nearby sidewalk, close to where the suspect was found hiding.

The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Jake Taylor, was subsequently arrested for Burglary of a Building, where he was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
