MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), is participating in the Intoxicated Driver Mobilization enforcement, a statewide initiative running from December 12th through January 1st. This campaign focuses on reducing impaired driving and reminding motorists to never drive under the influence.

Impaired driving remains one of the leading causes of fatal crashes in Montgomery County, and even a small amount of alcohol or drugs can slow reaction time and impair judgment. One wrong decision can cost lives. Throughout the enforcement period, additional MCSO deputies will be increasing patrols to keep our roadways safe.

Your choices behind the wheel don’t just affect you—help us keep Montgomery County safe by choosing to drive sober, every time.
