THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The John Cooper School Middle School community came together once again this holiday season to support the Montgomery County Food Bank (MCFB) through its annual food drive. Led by the Student Council and Cooper Connects student ambassadors, the initiative inspired widespread participation and highlighted the division’s shared commitment to serving others.

Middle School students collected a remarkable amount of food, demonstrating enthusiasm, collaboration, and care for neighbors in need. From classroom collections to friendly encouragement among peers, the drive reflected the collective effort of students, families, and faculty working toward a common purpose.

“Our Middle School students consistently show how thoughtful and compassionate they can be when supporting important causes,” said Elisa Inman, Head of Middle School at The John Cooper School. “This experience allows them to see how their actions can directly support families in our community while reinforcing the value of service.”

The Montgomery County Food Bank serves thousands of families throughout the area by providing reliable access to nutritious food. Support from community partners like The John Cooper School plays an important role in helping the organization meet ongoing needs, especially during the holiday season.

In addition to the immediate impact on the community, the food drive serves as a meaningful learning experience for students. By participating, they gain a greater awareness of food insecurity and develop a sense of responsibility, empathy, and pride in contributing to something larger than themselves.

As the Middle School reflects on another successful season of giving, students and faculty remain committed to continuing this tradition and strengthening their support of the Montgomery County Food Bank in the years ahead.
