MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- On January 8, 2026, a multi-agency operation led by the Montgomery County Auto Theft Task Force (ATTF) and the Texas Department of Public Safety (TXDPS) Criminal Investigations Division resulted in the recovery of ten stolen vehicles. Authorities are now seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect, Justin Bowman.

The investigation began when ATTF Detectives and TXDPS Agents tracked Bowman, who had an outstanding felony warrant for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle in Montgomery County, to a specific location. During surveillance, agents observed the suspect preparing to leave the premises.

As ATTF Detectives and Deputies from the Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office attempted to intercept the suspect, Bowman fled the location in a truck towing a trailer containing an additional vehicle. This initiated a vehicle pursuit led by Pct. 4 Constables. The pursuit concluded when the suspect abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. Despite an extensive search, the suspect remains at large.

Upon securing the scene, investigators confirmed that the truck driven by the suspect had been reported stolen out of Harris County three days prior. Further inspection revealed that both the trailer and the vehicle it was carrying were also stolen. A subsequent investigation led to the discovery of seven additional stolen vehicles. In total, ten vehicles were recovered through the coordinated efforts of the Montgomery County ATTF, TXDPS, and Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office. Law enforcement is actively searching for 34-year-old Justin Blake Bowman, a white male, 6’1”, and 150 pounds. Bowman is wanted on felony warrants.
