Tomball ISD Board of Trustees Appoints New Trustee for Position 1
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Tomball ISD Board of Trustees has appointed Patrick Beecher to fill the vacant Board Position 1 following an application and interview process approved by the Board.
Mr. Beecher emerged as the top candidate after a thorough and competitive process that included an open application period and interviews with four finalists during a Special Board Meeting. The Board considered a strong pool of highly qualified applicants from throughout the Tomball ISD community.
“The quality of candidates we interviewed was truly inspiring,” said Board President Mark Lewandowski. “It speaks to the passion and dedication of our community members who care deeply about Tomball ISD. After a rigorous and transparent process, we are excited to welcome Mr. Beecher and are confident of his leadership and dedication to the success of our students and our District.”
Patrick Beecher and his wife, Vicki, have lived in the Tomball ISD community since 2013, where they have raised their two children—one a recent graduate and the other soon to graduate from Tomball Memorial High School.
Mr. Beecher has a long-standing commitment to service through leadership roles at Kinsmen Lutheran Church and as President of the Board of Directors for Lutherhill Ministries. He has also volunteered in Tomball ISD schools as a parent and with the Tomball Education Foundation.
Mr. Beecher is a proud Aggie (Class of ’96) having earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas with over 27 years of experience with Terracon Consultants where he currently leads their Houston office as the Operations Manager. He is a Past President of the Houston Branch and Texas Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and 2021 Award of Honor recipient from the Houston Branch.
As the newly-appointed Tomball ISD Trustee, Mr. Beecher will be sworn in at the beginning of the next Board Workshop meeting on February 9, and will serve the remainder of the term for Position 1.
