List of warming shelters for The Woodlands and Montgomery County

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- As temperatures finally rise, bringing us to above freezing around noon, most of The Woodlands area seems to have emerged relatively unscathed from the recent ice storm. However, this evening and overnight, temperatures will once again plunge into the 20s. For those without power or shelter, it could be a matter of life or death. Thankfully, several local facilities have opened as warming shelters. Here is the current list of shelters for The Woodlands and Montgomery County area; note that they are currently scheduled to stay open throughout today but their hours of operation may be extended due to ongoing temperatures.
