New Indoor Slide Action Park Bringing Year-Round Family Fun to The Woodlands This March

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Slick City Action Park, the world’s first indoor dry-slide and air court park designed for all ages, is opening a new flagship franchise location this March in The Woodlands, Texas. Owned and operated by local franchisees Chris and Mandy Bush, the new 35,800-square-foot park will bring year-round excitement to families with patented slides, immersive experiences and a high-energy atmosphere. The Woodlands location marks one of the earliest franchise parks for Slick City and underscores the brand’s continued expansion across Texas.

Franchise owners Chris and Mandy Bush bring decades of leadership experience in the finance and energy industries to Slick City The Woodlands. After years of exploring entrepreneurial opportunities, the couple discovered Slick City while planning their youngest daughter’s birthday and were immediately drawn to the park’s innovation and family-focused design. Following a Slick City Discovery Day and conversations with the corporate team, they recognized an opportunity to introduce a new kind of entertainment experience to The Woodlands and became one of the brand’s earliest franchise partners.

Slick City The Woodlands will feature 14 large-scale slides, including several of the brand’s biggest and newest designs, with no restrictions on slide height or configuration. The park will also include two air courts, a zipline, trapeze, soft play area and a mezzanine level with two private party rooms. Notably, the location will be the first Slick City park to feature a dedicated soccer air court, reflecting the area’s strong youth sports culture.

Additional highlights include fan-favorite attractions such as Riptide, Mega Launch, Cowabunga, Avalanche (V2) and Turbo Twin, along with a near-vertical thrill slide designed to deliver one of the most intense experiences in the Slick City system. The Woodlands park will also debut a large-scale video wall, the first of its kind at any Slick City location, capable of displaying interactive content and personalized birthday messages. The park will not feature an arcade, keeping the focus on active, immersive play.

Community engagement will be a core focus of the Woodlands location. The park plans to partner with a local nonprofit organization for its grand opening as part of Slick City’s Slide Forward initiative (partner to be announced), with ongoing community involvement throughout the year. Planned initiatives include back-to-school backpack and canned food drives and additional community-focused events designed to give back and build meaningful local connections.

Founded in 2021, Slick City is headquartered in St. Louis and Nashville and opened its first location in Denver, CO in early 2022. Since then, Slick City has introduced the nation to a first-of-its-kind entertainment experience.
