Looks like the freezing temps are behind us, perhaps for the next 300 days or so. This week will see some decidedly springlike weather with sunny skies and warm temperatures. Sounds to us like the perfect week to hit some of those local events you’ve been saving yourself up for! Here are some to try out.

Monday, February 9
Ashley with Mahjong Rodeo is hosting a Mahjong 101 class at Kendra Scott on Market Street today from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Browse this legendary store and play some mahj! Come a little early to shop, order drinks and sweets, and get settled in. $65 to sign up. All attendees will also receive a $30 Kendra Scott gift card to use towards purchases that night. Drinks and light bites will be available for purchase from the in-store Sips & Sweets bar (at 15% off)!

Gather your favorite friends and join the staff for a Galentine’s Day Wine Glass Painting Party at Sawyer Park Icehouse. Boogie Bash at The Woodlands Children’s Museum today at 11:00 a.m. presents Winter Olympics Boogie. In honor of the Winter Olympic games in Milano Cortina, they will be training and “competing” with fun movement activities, including figure skating and “curling.” Included in the price of admission, which is $9 for adults and children 1 year and older.
