SPRING, TX -- POP CULTURE CON welcomes a full slate of entertainment from the world of Film, TV, Cosplay, Anime, Voice Acting, Illustration and is the stage for the cast of Aliens (1986) 40th reunion anniversary at the Houston CityPlace Marriott at Springwood Village, 1200 Lake Plaza Drive, the weekend of March 14 -15, 2026. The entertainment lineup includes Aliens actors and headliners Michael Biehn, Mark Rolston, Jenette Goldstein, Ricco Ross, William Hope, Cynthia Scott, and Carl Toop. Additional guests include Zach Galligan, star of the Gremlins film series; Monster High creator Garret Sander; actor/voice actor Salli Saffioti (Clawdeen Wolf and Cleo de Nile from Monster High), Marvel comic book artist Mark Bagley, (The Amazing Spider-Man, Ultimate Spider-Man), actor/voice actor Dameon Clarke (Dragon Ball series, Fullmetal Alchemist, 24, Castle, Supernatural.) Scott Innes, the voice of Scooby-Doo, Shaggy and Scrappy-Doo, to name a few of his various credits; actress/producer/director Jennifer Blanc-Biehn (guest roles in Dark Angel, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, star of the 2011 thriller The Victim); actor/singer/voice actor Vic Mignogna (Captain Kirk of the Star Trek Continues web series); and voice actor/ADR director Chuck Huber (Android 17 in the Dragon Ball franchise, Hiei in Yu Yu Hakusho, and Kurogiri in My Hero Academia). From Aliens, Gremlins, Doctor Who’s Ringmaster, Monster High, Thomas the Tank to Shaggy and Scooby-Doo!

Aliens cast members are also well-known for other roles—Ricco Ross is the Ringmaster in Doctor Who, William Hope is the voice of Thomas in Thomas and Friends and has voiced Thomas the Tank Engine and other characters in every series and video game of that franchise for many generations, and Mark Rolston is the voice of Commissioner Gordon and is Bogs Diamond in The Shawshank Redemption, among many other roles in Supernatural, Star Trek: The Next Generation. Also slated to appear are voice actors Meredith McCoy (Android 18 in Dragon Ball Z, GT, Super, and multiple DBZ films), John, Burgmeier (Graf Granat in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End and Regto in Gatchiakuta), and Dale Kelly (legendary role as the narrator who coined the phrase “Next Time…on Dragon Ball Z!” and author and creator of Cycles of War).

Comic guests Sam de la Rosa, (currently MARVEL COMICS Cover Artist and has penciled/inked art for Marvel, DC, Image, Disney, Dark Horse, IDW, and others since 1982), Renee Witterstaetter (writer, editor, color artist, agent and publisher, and as editor at DC Comics, Marvel Comics and Topps Comics, her other work spans such pop culture iconic titles as “Superman,” “Barbie,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Hercules,” “Xena,” “X-Files,” “Conan,” “She-Hulk,” and “Jurassic Park,” Pop Mhan (DC Comics Masters of the Universe series, Star Wars Jedi Quest series, Flash, Spy Boy, Ghost Rider, and Batgirl). Bill Williams (inking assistant to Keith Wilson and publishes his comics as Lone Star Press and co-creator and writer of the PUNCHLINE comic book from Antarctic Press), David Roman (a Rick and Morty comic book artist under Adult Swim, Oni-Press and Cryptozoic), Dirk Strangely (creator of the beloved book series Darkened Bedtime Stories For Children, Pumpkin The Zombie Cat, and Strange Stories For Strange People. He is also a featured artist in volume 2 of Jim Henson’s Legends Of The Dark Crystal).

POP CULTURE CON is a two-day event filled with celebrity Q & A panels with photo opportunities, autographs, cosplay contest and vendor hall for shopping for that special keepsake or collector item.
