Multi-Agency Response Contained Fire at Fireworks Stand in The Woodlands Area
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Just after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, The Woodlands Fire Department was dispatched to the 23000 block of Kuykendahl Road near Willow Path to assist the Spring Fire Department with a reported structure fire.
Upon arrival, first responding units reported a fireworks stand heavily involved in flames, with the fire quickly spreading to nearby trailers as well as surrounding grass and brush. Due to the rapid spread, additional resources, including brush trucks and support units, were requested to contain the growing brush fire.
