HOUSTON, TX -- Those considering enrolling at Lone Star College System can have all their questions answered at Open House events held at all eight campuses on April 7 from 4-7 p.m.

Attendees can tour campuses, start the enrollment process and learn more about the resources that help individuals get from where they are to where they want to be. LSCS offers over 200 degree and certification programs with in-person, online and hybrid courses available throughout the year.

“Lone Star College System allows students to start their higher education journey close to home with flexible scheduling and low tuition rates,” said Melissa N. Gonzalez, Ph.D., LSC-Kingwood president. “Whether you’re looking to start earning college credit in high school, transfer to a four-year university, enter the workforce or pursue career advancement, we have options to help you meet your goals.”

Current and prospective students are invited to the Open House to learn more about what LSCS has to offer, including:

“Lone Star College System has completely changed the direction of my life,” said Jeremiah Paiz, LSC-Houston North student. “When I first started my welding program, I was working two jobs just to afford rent and utilities while trying to figure out college on my own. It wasn’t easy, but being part of Lone Star has given me more than just an education; it’s given me hope, direction and a real chance to build the future I’ve always wanted.”
